5.56 panels per square metre. Each CORKE panel is 600 x 300 mm, which is 0.18 square metres, so the calculation is your wall area divided by 0.18. Add roughly 10% on top for cuts and offcuts at edges and around switches, as you would with any tile.

Be clear about what these are

These are a finish, not an insulation or acoustic product, and at 3 to 4 mm that is a matter of geometry rather than of testing. What cork gives you here is a wall that feels warm to the touch where tile and stone feel cold, in a renewable material that is light to fix.

If a project needs cork that genuinely insulates, that is carbonised cork board, also called expanded cork, at a far greater thickness, and it is a different product.
